Dr. Keating fet like the CLL (leukemia)- ( lymphoma) wee sae at tis time. Dr. Keating wants me to find a spine surgeon and try to get my back more live able. Hard trying to fnd the best ack surgeon. I a busy working.
I saw my local oncologist today. She gave me my IVIg okay. ( a immune booster). She is also refer me to a local spine surgeon. I am also going to see a spine surgeon in LA.
I hope that my disease stays stable and we can move onto getting some relief for this bask .

New Chapter-I have not made a blog entry for a long time-Here I am

I have had alot of trouble getting used to my apple desktop, ipad and phone. They have what is called ICloud. This clould makes all my devices talk to each other so then I can easier talk to you. My purpose of this blog is to all those who want updates about my illness updated. Well the cloud passed. I am back in control of my devices. Now maybe I can make more enteries on my blog to keep those of you updated that care enough to read my blog. Many thanks.
As most of you know I recieved a diagnosis of Leukemia (CLL)/lymphoma(nonhod)> It was called a watch and hang on program. The date then was Sept. 2006. Today is Feb. 20, 2012. So many life changing things have occured to me.
I have been fighting a simple bronchitis for over five weeks. Never worked so hard to get rid of this sort of thing. My body was able to then fight these sort of troubles.
I am only going to start from today with regards to the cancer. On March !2, 2012 I will be in Houston ,Tx. seeing my guru specialist-Dr. Micheal Keating. At this time they will tell how I will move forward to keep the fight up. To stay one foot ahead. Praying for good news. When I return home I will make a blog entry to let all the follow aware of any news.
Untill then-happy trails-Debbie

PS_For anyone who may read my post please leave me a comment so I know-thanks.

Treatments

Treatments

Last week I saw. My oncologist- dr. Lauren Pintor Brown from UCLA. With a moved office to Santa Monica. She did her usual feeling of my spleen, lymph nodes, blood work. This time after she examined me she looks up at me and says it is time. Just the words you hope you will never hear. The treatment is called FCR. Goes on for six months. Initially they give you 4 days of treatment so they really get it in your body. I sort of want to be at MD Anderson. Their program runs very smooth and organized. UCLA has. Gotten so large. One wonderful doctor can see only so many people. They need to hire more people and get a more organize system. I do love my doctor and that is what keeps me there. So I am hoping that the next six months will put me into ax readmission and I will become the old DebbieThanks for reading. Debbi
