Wed. June 24,2009

I went to see the doctor (Michael Keating MD) and Alice Lynn the Nurse Practitioner and both agreed that I start treatment.
I will be started on Rituxan and steroids 4 treatments one week apart. They hope this will alleviate my pain and also bring up my energy level.
I asked the doctor " When the disease turns aggressive does having this treatment now impact the benefits of it later?"
The doctor responded that the treatment now will actually help later.
So I am scheduled to start tomorrow.
